So, we entered a giveaway on http://misadventureswithandi.com a while back and awesomely enough managed to win a collection of handmade Oliveira Bags all the way from California.
These are available from Etsy, and are definitely worth checking out as the prices are great and there are so many fabrics to choose from.
Once we were aware of our win, we had the wait which I'm sure as you all know is the most frustrating yet exciting part of ordering something online or waiting for a package generally!
When the day finally came we were so excited - pounced the postman as per usual (poor man) and tore our Fed-ex package to pieces. Much to our surprise, we got a collection of bags as opposed to just one or two as we were expecting. Wahoooo!! Even better considering there are two of us. :)
Here is the collection we received:
This consisted of snack bags:
Cheque book cases (although we'll definitely be using these for other purposes, make up brushes maybe?):
Coin purses:
We love that you can see the neat stitching in the interior of the purses - it is such a cute touch! The pearly poppers are so pretty and add a little glamour that they would lack with normal poppers don't you think?
Overall, we are so happy with these and are trying to decide what to put in each! Any suggestions besides the coin purses of course?!
And, just thought we'd share a little bit of old school nail painting with you as we literally can't get enough of the matt effect.
As you probably know, if you've been following for a while now, part of my secret santa gift was a 17 matte top coat which transforms shiny polishes into the opposite - perfection!
They feel so soft and look almost as though they've been coloured in with felt tips we think!
These are the polishes used:
The Revlon is called Emerald City 032 and despite going on the nail shiny, dries matte!
The gold is Barry M's Gold 289 and we used the topcoat on this dazzling number to match the tone of the other nails.
I'm so happy with the outcome, will my love for matte nails ever end!? What do you think about the look?

wow! you ladies got quite the assortment! Lucky ducks! and I love how your nails turned out!
