Country Reunion...

18.4.12
Easter holidays brings about a lot for us januarysublime gals, normally a heck load of travelling backwards and forwards from Uni to home, and off to various places in between.
Luckily for us, we managed to catch up with each other, which in person is quite the rare occurrence! (Weep)
Anyway, we ventured out in the countryside around my house to walk the old pooch and figured it was an opportune moment to whip up a little outfit post!
Dee is wearing a Ralph Lauren shirt that is actually mine, I got it a few years back from a charity shop for only £4, biggest bargain EVER!
The leggings were a gift from her sister and the shoes were another one of Dee's eBay bargains.

We love the panelled feature on the leggings, mixes it up a bit and allows them to be less garish than the plain wet look leggings!

The lighting of the early evening was really beautiful and you can see the beautiful colours of the sunset in some of the pictures!

Dee is wearing a Rimmel lipstick which smells absolutely divine and looks awesome too.
The necklace is actually our friend Laura's but I borrowed it ages ago and it somehow landed up in Dee's house! (Sorry Laura!)

This cardi is a complete fail safe and to be honest, I attempt to borrow it at every chance I get. I think it is only from Primark but is literally the warmest thing ever and just goes with everything.

Now for my outfit...
The dress is my Topshop wonder, we posted about a while back as it is the easiest, most versatile object in my wardrobe!
The collar is the best part of this outfit...
It was actually my mum's back in the day and as far as I'm aware was bought for her by her dad when she was a young'un. Thank goodness she held onto this beaut!

This collar attaches at the back with a little clip and has a weight to it due to being made of beads so feels really nice to wear.
Obviously I'm wearing it with a dress here but I wear it with tops, jumpers etc and it looks lovely with all of them!

This blazer is Jaegar but luckily for me my mum scooped this 100% wool blazer up in a charity shop for £6. Absolute baaaargain!
The broach was a gift and I think it adds a little quirk to the look, it's also pretty handy to have a portable mirror at easy access.

There is definitely an 80's vibe omitted from this blazer with the broad shoulder pads but I like it! It gives a stiff structure to the jacket which makes it a more statement piece.

I'm contemplating changing the button to a big black and gold one. What do you reckon?
Somehow this pink one doesn't seem to carry the impact the blazer deserves!

Last but not least, a little accident picture of us together:

We thought it was zoomed in hence the messy bodies! Sandy decided she didn't wanna pose for the photo and proceeded to wrap us up in her lead!
(Sorry about the picture heavy post, not really any other way around it!)

Now we have all split up and gone back to Uni, exams are ever looming....
Do any of you have exams coming up?
